HODMAS University College is dedicated to contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 13. Our faculties and centers have aligned their research and academic pursuits with these goals, focusing on making a positive impact in the corresponding areas.

 

Across the university’s faculties and centers, a range of disciplines and expertise converge to address the pressing challenges outlined in the SDGs. The Faculty of Social Sciences and Sustainable Development tackles poverty alleviation and food security. The Faculty of Education and Human Development emphasizes quality education and gender equality. The Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Water Resources focuses on clean water, sanitation, and sustainable energy. The Faculty of Economics and Sustainable Business explores decent work, economic growth, and reduced inequalities.

Additionally, the university’s centers play a pivotal role in driving research and initiatives aligned with specific SDGs. The Centre for Sustainable Urban Development contributes to sustainable cities and communities, while the Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Resilience tackles climate action and environmental resilience.
